The Green Committee at the Okaloosa County Health Department

About the Okaloosa County Health Department's (OCHD's) Green Committee
The Green Committee is comprised of staff members from the Okaloosa County Health Department.  This group helps create and facilitate the implementation of green initiatives.

Recently, we added a single stream recycling dumpster outside of our Fort Walton Beach campus. 
It is located near the county vehicle parking area. 

Clients are welcome to bring their recyclables from home to this dumpster, and our staff members are encouraged to recycle, too!



The Green Committee also manages in-house recycle bins.  These bins are in place to make it easier for recycling in the workplace.  They are located throughout both our both Fort Walton Beach & in Crestview facilities.
